Fulbright New Century Scholars Program
The Fulbright New Century Scholars Program brings together a group of approximately 30 outstanding scholars and professionals each year from around the world to engage in an international, interdisciplinary collaboration on issues of global significance. The group makes recommendations designed to inform policy and practice and promote action. The program has focused on issues related to global health, sources of conflict, empowerment of women, and higher education. This year’s theme, "Higher Education in the 21st Century: Access and Equity," examines the relationship of cultural and social norms, role of primary and secondary education, and resources and policies impacting efforts to ensure equitable access to higher education worldwide.
