Fulbright Program Opportunities for Mexicans

Grants are available for Mexican students to pursue Master's and Ph.D. degrees in the U.S. and for one-year non-degree study at a U.S. university for students who will return to complete a Ph.D. in a Mexican university. Additional awards are available for the study of public policy and other select fields. Mexico also participates in the Fulbright Faculty Development Program, which offers advanced degrees for a limited number of faculty members in Mexican universities. Post-doctoral research opportunities are offered to Mexican scholars. The Border Scholars program enables Mexicans teaching in institutions along the U.S. border to spend part of each week teaching or conducting research in a U.S. institution across the border. Grants are available to Mexican teachers and school administrators for semester or academic-year exchanges in U.S. schools.
Mexican students and scholars are also eligible to participate in worldwide Fulbright Programs such as the Fulbright Science and Technology Program and the Hubert H. Humphrey Program.
